It’s relatively easy to find a pharmacy near you these days, but it’s a more complicated search for the perfect cannabis strain for you.
Check out Smoke Reports, a new Bay Area startup that’s more into cannabis genetics than retail locations.
By collecting complex data from geneticists and seed companies, Smoke Reports provides a unique database where users can find detailed information about specific strains, extracts and edibles.
Want to find legit Girl Scout Cookies? A quick search on Smoke Reports will reveal the original breeder, the genetics of his mother and father, the origin of the lineage and even new strains that utilize the genetics of GSC, also known as her ‘children’.
Once you’ve picked the right strain, Smoke Reports will show you a comprehensive list of all the nearby dispensaries that sell them. Signing up to the database will also track your preferences and make suggestions based on what you like.
Smoke Reports is the perfect tool for true cannaseurs and strain snobs. Sure, Weedmaps can direct you to the nearest pharmacy and Leafly can list the medical effects of a strain, but Smoke Reports assumes you already know that stuff. Instead, they provide you with a way to find exactly what you’re looking for and where to find it.
Come to the 111 Minna Gallery in San Francisco today, March 13, to celebrate the Smoke Reports launch party with live music, demonstrations and even Volcano Vaporizer giveaways. The event starts at 12 noon and lasts all day until 11 p.m.
Best of all, it’s free. Check out the Smoke Reports event page for more information.
