Who in San Francisco delivers to your door without needing a medical marijuana ID card? SF Evergreen went extensively.
More than two dozen San Francisco pharmacies now sell cannabis for adults, but there are very few delivery services on the recreational bandwagon. The blunt truth is that most marijuana delivery services in San Francisco still require a medical ID card if you want the sticky-icky delivered to your door.
But we found every delivery service in San Francisco that is currently licensed to deliver adult cannabis to your home. Oakland has a large number of licensed recreational delivery options, but San Francisco only has 10.
Why so few? Supplying recreational marijuana in California requires a very different state license than the license required by physical dispensaries.
Sure, if you Google or Yelp “San Francisco Recreational Marijuana Delivery” you’ll see tons of results – but most of these aren’t accurate! Google and Yelp don’t do fact-checking because people double-check the results for accuracy, which is completely against their business philosophies.
SF Evergreen has done what the bots won’t, scouring the database of the California Bureau of Cannabis Control to find every delivery service in San Francisco that is licensed to legally supply marijuana to anyone 21 and older.
Eaze.com, which serves San Francisco, all of Alameda County, and parts of San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. The company on this list you’ve probably heard of is Eaze, which has the most venture capital funding of any California marijuana startup (including an investment from Snoop Dogg). Eaze is not licensed to supply recreational marijuana, but they partner with people who do. So you have the most product options, but you never know who you are buying the product from and your delivery service is not shown when placing the order. Eaze also doesn’t list a customer support phone number on its site, and your online-only transaction requires you to submit your home address information before you can see what’s available.
GreenRush.com, 510-426-8859, serves San Francisco, all of Alameda County, and parts of San Mateo and Santa Clara counties. Green Rush is one of those platform services that connects you to deliveries or pharmacies. But it partners with a few recreational delivery services that cover San Francisco. Please note that your order must be at least $60 for delivery.
Bay Care Delivery

KindCourier.com, 844-473-5463, serves San Francisco and parts of Marin and San Mateo counties
The non-geographically specific 844 area code makes us wonder how local Kind Courier is, but staffers were super attentive when answering – and the online menu is extensive. That said, you do need to create a user profile with some personal information before ordering.
Lifted420.org, 888-250-8983, serving San Francisco. You can order recreational marijuana online or over the phone with Lifted, although you must first create an online profile, which includes what their staff describes as a “selfie of yourself with a valid state ID.”
Medithrive.com, 415-562-6334, serves San Francisco and parts of San Mateo County. That fabulously futuristic Mission District dispensary Medithrive also has a recreational marijuana delivery service, and they even deliver to the peninsula. But Peninsula delivery has a $30 minimum order – and a $10 delivery fee on top of that – and it’s only available on Wednesdays and Thursdays, while SF can order delivery seven days a week, at no extra cost.
Chic Green Collective
PoshGreenCollective.com, 415-499-2328, serves San Francisco and parts of San Mateo County. Posh Green Collective calls itself the ‘Nordstrom of Cannabis’ and supplies many cities in the Bay Area. The minimum order runs from $50 to $150 depending on where you live, but in San Francisco it’s the low minimum order of $50.
SocietyJane.com, orders@societyjane. com, serving San Francisco. The “good girl’s cannabis club” Society Jane only takes orders by email, but their selection – curated especially for women – is available to all genders in San Francisco.
